Mercu Buana University was officially founded on October 22 1985 by the late. H. Probosutedjo. However, if we take it further back, the forerunner to the founding of this University is inseparable from the Dewantara Entrepreneurial Academy (AWD) which was also founded by the deceased on November 10 1981.
