3 bulan yang lalu 2 MENIT MEMBACA

Populix collaborated with Vital Strategies and the Jakarta Environmental Agency to evaluate public perceptions and the effectiveness of emission-testing sanctions in curbing air pollution across the city.

The study integrated perception surveys with awareness campaigns to promote cleaner air initiatives. Results were disseminated widely through media coverage, motion graphic videos, and videotron displays throughout Jakarta to enhance public understanding and compliance with emission testing regulations.

Overview

In partnership with Vital Strategies and the Jakarta Environmental Agency, Populix conducted a comprehensive study to measure how emission test sanctions influence efforts to improve air quality in Jakarta. The dissemination event also featured discussions with key partners, including the Leaded Gasoline Elimination Committee (KPBB) and the Institute for Transportation & Development Policy (ITDP).

Objectives

  • Assess the impact of emission-testing sanctions on public compliance and their contribution to air pollution reduction.
  • Increase public awareness of the role of vehicle emission testing in ensuring a healthier urban environment.

Our Approach

Populix carried out a perception survey and issue mapping to understand public attitudes and behaviors related to vehicle emissions. The insights were shared through public forums, media briefings, and creative communication materials such as infographics, motion graphic videos, and social media engagement via @populix.co.

Key Outcomes

  • Over 70 media articles have been published, boosting public awareness of Jakarta’s emission testing policy.
  • More than 20 outdoor videotron placements and 10 TransJakarta screen displays showcased motion graphics to reach urban audiences and reinforce understanding of emissions testing.

Client Testimonial:
