The Indonesian Defense University (Unhan) or Indonesia Defense University (IDU) was established through the Letter of the Minister of National Education Number 29/MPN/OT/2009 dated March 6 2009 concerning the Establishment of the Defense University and was inaugurated by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on March 11 2009 at the State Palace.
