What is Populix?

Populix is the go-to consumer insights service and online survey platform connecting individuals, MSME players, start-ups, local & multinational companies, and academics from various industries with respondents throughout Indonesia. We provide several services to help research and survey processes be carried out faster and in a more accessible and affordable way. Respondents who participate and complete studies in the Populix apps will also get attractive rewards!

How do I create an account and register as Populix’s respondent?

You only need to download the Populix app from PlayStore or AppStore. Then, sign up with your email or Facebook. Follow the steps to complete your data accordingly.

Does Populix protect my personal data and information?

Populix is committed to maintaining and protecting the security of each of our respondents. We also strive to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding data protection and privacy.

How do I verify my account?

After completing the registration form, you will receive an email containing a link to verify your account. In addition, to improve account security, we will also send a verification code (OTP) to the registered mobile number.

Why does Populix ask for my ID card during registration?

ID card is required only for a study’s verification and validation process. It will not be used for other purposes. Respondents are required to upload a photo or scan of the original ID card and input their own phone number. Populix does not allow multiple uses of an ID card and phone number. Violations of this term will result in blocking or account deletion along with the rewards and points collected.

Will I be charged when signing up?

Signing up as a respondent on Populix is free of charge.

Can I create multiple accounts on Populix?

Each person is only allowed to have one account. If a respondent is found to have more than one account, Populix will block or delete the account along with the rewards and points collected.

Can I delete my Populix account?

We are sad to see you have to leave Populix. We hope that you enjoy your time while using Populix. To delete an account, you can go to ‘Settings’ and follow the steps below:
1. Tap ‘Account’
2. Change Personal Data
3. Delete Account

*once you delete your account, you will not be able to use the same email and phone number for registering back.

Who can create studies and conduct research with Populix?

Anyone can create studies and conduct research with Populix, from individuals, MSME players, start-ups, local & multinational companies, and academics. We support quantitative and qualitative research, including product tests, UI/UX studies, brand health checks, etc.

How can I create a study and conduct research on Populix?

You can try Poplite, our self-service survey service, by tapping the ‘Try Poplite’ icon at the upper right corner of your screen. Or, if you have more complex and other study needs, you can contact our research team via email at support@populix.co or tap the “Help” button at the top right corner of the screen.
